Denis (s) e de Kala (f) fe ( Olga Denise Kalaf Shad ; born April 23, 1949 in Ponta Grossa ) is a Mexican singer-songwriter of Brazilian origin.

The daughter of Lebanese immigrants became known in São Paulo with pacifist songs in the style of Joan Baez . She took part in Latin American music festivals and shuttled between Mexico and Brazil since the early 1970s until she decided in 1975 to move entirely to Mexico. In 1978 she won the seventh OTI Festival with the song El amor… cosa tan rara . Her most famous song Señora, señora was written in 1981. Boleros such as El Porqué de Mi Canto , La Vida No Es un Mar de Rosas and Tres Porqués also achieved great popularity in Latin America. With her last bolero A Quién Amar Si No Es a Ti , she said goodbye to the stage in 2000, but then released the albums Hacer y Deshacer (2005) and Detalles (2012).
