The Gmina Sieraków is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Międzychodzki of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city ​​of the same name ( German Zirke ) with about 6000 inhabitants.

geography

The municipality borders in the north on the Lubusz Voivodeship and in the west on the municipality of the district town of Międzychód (Birnbaum) . It is located about 60 kilometers as the crow flies northwest of the city of Poznan . The Warta runs through the municipality from east to west.
