Dennis Jonsson (born February 16, 1983 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish football player who played mainly as a defender in Sweden and Norway during his playing career .
Career
Jonsson comes from the youth of Hisingstads IF , which he left for IFK Göteborg in the mid-1990s . In 2002 he made his debut for the club in the Allsvenskan and subsequently established himself in the first division squad, where he only established himself as a regular player at times. In January 2007 he moved to Norway to Raufoss IL in the second class Adeccoligaen . There he was in 23 games of the season on the ball and occupied eleventh place in the table, but the club received no license for the following season.
In early 2008, Gothenburg second division club Örgryte IS Jonsson signed, with whom he initially signed a two-year contract. As a regular player, he led the club to return to the Allsvenskan. After the direct relegation, he missed relegation with the team in the Superettan and ran another season in the third division Division 1 . He then ended his active career in November 2011.
