Dennis Rathkamp

Dennis Rath Kamp (* 3. January 1989 in Hohenhameln ), self-designation Abdul Malik ( Arabic "the king's servant") is a German Salafist Islam - preachers .

Life and conversion

Both Protestant baptized and Konfirmierte Rath Kamp grew up in Lower Saxony , and accompanied in his youth the church choir with the guitar. After completing secondary school, he began training as a financial advisor and trained as a vehicle mechatronics technician .

According to his own account, he converted to Sunni Islam in 2009 after seeing a video by the Islamic preacher Pierre Vogel and took the name Abdul Malik . Today he is part of the Islamic movement in Germany and is in close contact with well-known preachers, such as Pierre Vogel, who converted to Islam in 2001.

Rathkamp lived for a time in the Egyptian port city of Alexandria to learn Arabic at a language school there . There he was visited by a reporter from the news magazine Der Spiegel and accompanied for a short time.

Today Rathkamp lives again in Germany and is chairman of the association “ The Key to Paradise ” based in Hanover . He was also the person responsible in Hanover for the nationwide known Koran project "Lies!" .
