The Denza X is an SUV from the Chinese automobile brand Denza .
history
In 2010 Daimler AG and BYD Auto founded a joint venture to advance the development of electric cars. In 2012, the newly founded Denza brand presented the first vehicle at the Beijing Auto Show . From 2014 the Denza 500 based on the Mercedes-Benz B-Class was sold in China.
As a preview of the Denza X, a first concept vehicle , the Denza Concept X , was presented in June 2019 . The production version debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2019 . Technically, the SUV is based on the second generation of the BYD Tang , which has been sold in China since summer 2018. In contrast to this, only electrified drive variants are available in the Denza X.
