Deon Jackson

Deon Jackson (born January 26, 1946 in Ann Arbor , Michigan , † April 19, 2014 ) was an American rhythm and blues singer.

Life

Deon Jackson grew up in the town where he was born. He learned the clarinet at an early age and later learned to play drums. He started singing in a school band in 1960 and was discovered while performing. His single Love makes the world go round reached number 11 on the US charts in 1966.
