The highlight!

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The computer game The highlight! was developed and published in 1994 by the Austrian software company neo Software . For the Commodore Amiga there is only a floppy disk version, for MS-DOS and the Amiga CD³² there is also a CD version that even contains speech output. In 2000 a freeware version for Linux was released . The game is a so-called burglary simulation or stealth computer game .

A flashback tells the career of a young country ice cream named Matt Stuvysunt who arrived in London in the early 1950s with little money and from then on tried to get hold of it.

Control is via individual menu items such as walking, waiting, looking around, thinking. If an IBM-compatible mouse is connected, The Clou! also control by point-and-click . The music and sounds of the DOS version come from Hannes Seifert .

The source code was published in 2000 . Since then, the game has been further developed by the community and ported to new platforms ( Windows , Linux ) via SDL .
