Jesus is on a trip to Jerusalem and in the border area between Samaria and Galilee meets ten lepers who were banished from their village because of their illness. They ask Jesus for mercy, and he replies that they should go to the priests who should check their health before returning to the city. Everyone gets clean on the way. One person returns to Jesus to show his gratitude and praise God's love, a Samaritan. Jesus asks about the remaining nine, but they immediately returned to their families. He praises the Samaritan for his faith, which has helped him.
