The last of the mohicans (English original title: The Last of the mohicans ) is an eight-part television series on the BBC from 1971. The director was David Maloney . It is one of several film adaptations of the novel The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper .

The shooting took place under difficult conditions in 1971 in Scotland.
