The Derbyshire peak is a small peaks in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 8 km north-northeast of Mount Weihaupt in the group of the Outback Nunatakker .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years 1959 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1970 after Edward Derbyshire (* 1932), geologist at McMurdo Station between 1966 and 1967.
