Onesie

Onesie for adults

A onesie ( pronunciation : [ ˈwʌnsiː ]; derived from English one , one ' ) is a one-piece piece of clothing . It is a jumpsuit that was originally marketed as thermal pajamas for adults and became popular as casual wear, mostly with a hood and sometimes with a very eye-catching design.

In English-speaking countries, the term "onesie" also describes a romper suit for babies.

The idea for such a particularly comfortable piece of clothing originally came from Scandinavia by the Norwegian clothing company Onepiece. When onesies also became a fashion trend cannot be precisely determined. Celebrities like Ellie Goulding , Cara Delevingne and Katy Perry , who designed several onesies of her own for Christmas 2015, contributed to this.
