Derek Lamb
Derek Lamb (born June 20, 1936 in Bromley , Kent (now London ), † November 5, 2005 in Poulsbo , Washington ) was a British documentary and animator .
Derek Lamb was with the National Film Board of Canada from 1959 . From 1966 he taught animation at Harvard University . Lamb won the 1980 Oscar for Best Animated Short Film ( Every Child ). At the 1978 Ottawa International Animation Festival , he won Why Me? the special prize of the jury and in 1996 the UNICEF prize for Goldtooth .
