Derek Theler (* 1986 in Fort Collins , Colorado ) is an American actor and model .

Life

Derek Theler began his acting career in 2009 in several small roles, for example in The Middle and Cougar Town . In 2011 he was in two episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 - spin-offs 90,210 to see. He has had his first leading role in the sitcom Baby Daddy since 2012 . There he embodies the brother and roommate of the main character, who is played by Jean-Luc Bilodeau .

He has also appeared in fashion campaigns for Nike , Coke Zero and State Farm .

Theler graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in pre- medicine .

When Derek Theler was three years old, he was diagnosed with type I diabetes .
