Derek Vanlint

Derek Vanlint (born November 7, 1932 in London , † February 23, 2010 in Toronto ) was a Canadian cameraman and director .

Vanlint filmed the global success Alien - The uncanny creature from a strange world and The Dragon Slayer . In The Spreading Ground with Dennis Hopper he also directed. In addition to his feature films, he worked as a commercial filmmaker.
