Dermot Morgan
Dermot John Morgan (born March 31, 1952 in Dublin , † February 28, 1998 in London ) was an Irish comedian and actor .
Life
Morgan was a schoolteacher trained at Oatlands College in Stillorgan and University College Dublin (UCD). He had international success with his role as Father Ted Crilly on the Channel 4 sitcom Father Ted . He died of a heart attack 24 hours after shooting the final episode of the series . He is buried in Deansgrange Cemetery in County Dublin.
