Eddie's First Winter (Original Title: The First Snow Of Winter ) is an award-winning cartoon by Graham Ralph from 1998.

Little drake Eddie has to fly south with his parents. As they take off, Eddie is thrown off the track by a plane and crashes. He injures his wing in the process. Shortly after his crash, he meets the vole Voley, who shows him how he can survive without his parents. However, Voley has to part with Eddie when winter falls and the little drake is now on his own. But thanks to the tricks that Voley taught him, he can get himself and his friend Puffin, who has also lost touch with the group, through the winter. In the end, both bird children find their parents again.
