Dermot Patrick O'Mahony
Dermot Patrick O'Mahony (born February 18, 1935 in Enniskillen , † December 10, 2015 ) was an Irish clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Dublin .
Life
Dermot Patrick O'Mahony was ordained a priest on May 29, 1960 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on February 13, 1975 auxiliary bishop in Dublin and titular bishop of Thiava . The Archbishop of Dublin , Dermot Ryan , ordained him episcopally on April 13 of that year ; Co-consecrators were the Dublin auxiliary bishops Patrick Joseph Dunne and Joseph Carroll .
On June 7, 1996, Pope John Paul II accepted his early resignation.
