The Descent Pass is a mountain pass in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It leads from the Blue Glacier to the Ferrar Glacier .
The pass got its name in memory of the adventurous descent (English descent ) that the team led by Albert Armitage undertook in 1902 during the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) over this pass and the subsequent Descent Glacier .
