Deste Günaydın (* 1957 in Sivas ) is a Turkish - Alevi singer. Günaydin first appeared in concerts in her childhood. She worked with Musa Eroğlu , Arif Sağ , Sabahat Akkiraz , Gülşen Altun , Belkis Akkale and Muhlis Akarsu . Under the stage name "Sivasli Deste Günaydin" she recorded a few albums, but continued to use her real name afterwards. In 1987 she recorded the album "Canımı Yoluna Koyduğum" with Selda Bağcan . Her repertoire includes folk through Alevism and Semah . Today she takes part in Alevi concerts, celebrations and festivals, including the Baris Semah Dönenler (German: They dance Semah for peace).
