Detlef Burghard Heinrich Georg Friedrich Otto Bock von Wülfingen (born December 10, 1895 in Kassel , † December 30, 1984 in Burgstemmen ) was a German major general .

Life

Detlef Bock von Wülfingen is a representative of the Lower Saxon noble family Bock von Wülfingen . His ancestors come from the II. (Catholic) line, which can be traced back to Jobst Bruno Bock von Wülfingen (1561–1594) on Elze .

Detlef Bock von Wülfingen's father was Major Richard Bock von Wülfingen (* 1862), his grandfather was the engineer Harry Bock von Wülfingen .

Like many of his family members, Detlef Bock von Wülfingen embarked on a military career. In 1942 he was a colonel and army news commander. In 1944 Detlef Bock von Wülfingen was a member of the Führerreserve and was appointed major general.

He was also a member of the German Nobility Association (DAG), in which he was included in the list of the pure-blooded German nobility .

In 1922 he married Marianne Freiin von der Wenge , Countess von Lambsdorff in Hanover (born August 4, 1900 in Charlottenburg ; † May 30, 1984 in Hanover ).
