Detlef Hartz

Detlef Hartz (born October 9, 1892 in Ascheberg , Schleswig-Holstein, † January 19, 1965 ) was a German politician.

Life and work

After attending primary school , Hartz, who was Protestant-Lutheran , completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter. After passing the master craftsman's examination, he set up his own carpentry in Lübeck in 1926 . Since 1931 he was chairman of the Lübeck house owners association and in 1951 he became chairman of the Schleswig-Holstein house and landowners association.

Hartz was married and had one child.

Hartz belonged to the Lübeck citizenship from 1924 to 1926 and 1929 to 1933 . He ran for 1924 and 1932 on the list of the New Landowners Association and in 1929 for the Hanseatic People's Association .

From 1954 to 1958 Hartz was a member of the state parliament in Schleswig-Holstein , he was elected from the list of the Schleswig-Holstein bloc formed by the DP and the Schleswig-Holstein community .
