Detlef Knut

Detlef Knut (* 1956 in Hagenow ) is a German author .

Knut has lived with his family in Düsseldorf for many years and wrote his first stories in the mid-1970s. In the 1990s he published various specialist books on the subjects of computer networking and the Internet . Until then, he did not aim to publish his other texts. It was only after many experiences in recent years that he decided to continue writing and to go public with these texts. His current travelogues expand on the texts he wrote in his diary during his time as a seaman. In addition to literature, he deals with topics such as filmmaking, photography and theater . In 2010 he founded the small publisher edition Oberkassel in Düsseldorf and since then has brought about ten books onto the market every year as a publisher. The publisher's program includes travel stories, historical novels, detective novels and romantic novels.
