Detlef Schaller (born June 7, 1943 in Senzig ) is a German publisher .

From 1971 to 2006, Schaller was managing director, publishing and advertising manager at Horst Axmann Verlag and, in this role, headed the commercial area of ​​the film magazine Filmecho / Filmwoche, which is published by the publisher . Even after retiring from operational business, he continues to act as publisher of the magazine. On the occasion of his departure on April 4, 2006, he was awarded the " Golden Screen for Special Services in the Film Industry " at the Film Theater Congress in Baden-Baden .

In the winter of 2006, Schaller and Hans Dieter Schreeb published the illustrated book Kaiserzeit - Wiesbaden and its hotels in the Belle Epoque , which presented postcards with Wiesbaden motifs that Schaller had collected over many years .
