Band history
Deuce was compiled by Tom Watkins in 1994. The former manager of the Pet Shop Boys and von Bros. , in addition to his previous work for East 17, still had spare capacity to oversee this project, which consisted of two young men and two young women.
The debut single Call It Love narrowly missed the Top 10 and reached number 11 in the UK charts in early 1995 . With the second single I Need You made it into the top ten, the song entered the charts at number 10 at the end of April . On the Bible , which was at position 13 in mid-August, became the third hit in a row.
Matt Aitken and Mike Stock from Stock Aitken Waterman have now been hired as producers . Kelly O'Keefe also left the quartet and was replaced by Mandy Perkins.
