German-Turkish Science Year

The German-Turkish Year of Science (DTWJ) or German-Turkish Year of Research, Education and Innovation 2014 is an initiative to promote German-Turkish relations . Its motto is "Science Bridging Nations" and deals with future topics, especially with applied science in key technologies, global and social change . The partners include a. Research organizations, the Turkish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce , the TU9 , the German Archaeological Institute and business and industry associations as well as several federal ministries . On the Turkish side, these include universities, research institutions, the Türkiye Bilimler Akademisi , the Turkish University Council and several ministries. An ideas competition will be announced.
