The German women's field handball championship in 1941/42 was the eighth German women's field handball championship organized by the German Reich Committee for Physical Activity (DRL) . This year's championship took place again in the knockout system between the masters of the Gauligen , which has now risen to over 20 . The preliminary and intermediate rounds took place at the end of August 1942 in four tournaments in Posen , Katowice , Magdeburg and Düsseldorf . The winners of these tournaments then met in a tournament in Magdeburg on September 12 and September 13, 1942 to determine the German handball champion. Stahl-Union 04 Düsseldorf won the final 5-4 after extra time against Eimsbütteler TV and thus secured his first German women's handball championship.
