German handball championship (women) 1958

The first German indoor handball championship for women was held on March 16, 1958 in the winter sports hall in Frankfurt am Main . The champions of the regional associations South, West, North and Berlin as well as two representatives of the organizing regional association Southwest had qualified for the final round. The six teams initially played in two groups. The two best placed progressed to the semi-finals, the two bottom of the group contested the game for fifth place. The Hamburg club Eimsbütteler TV became German champions .
