The German goldsmith magazine was, according to its subtitle, the trade magazine for jewelers , gold and silversmiths , and with varying additions official organ of the Central Association for the jewelery, gold and Silberschmiede- craft , the newsletter of the associations and guilds and the retail association as well as the newsletter of the Federation of jewelry wholesale .

The trade journal , which appeared irregularly with interruptions, and whose predecessor was the Handels-Zeitung and Kunstgewerbeblatt for the gold and silver goods industry , was published by Verlag Diebener in Leipzig from 1900 to 1943, and later by Rühle-Diebener Verlag in Stuttgart-Degerloch until 1965 .

Various supplements that were later incorporated into the paper were temporarily added, such as Der Junggoldschmied and Die Goldschmiedekunst the Deutsche Goldschmiedezeitung as a small or large edition as well as the magazine for goldsmiths, jewelers and engravers .

The Deutsche Goldschmiedezeitung went into the Goldschmiede-Zeitung .
