The German Leasing AG is the largest manufacturer-independent leasing -Gesellschaft in Germany . The company has been based in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe since 1987 and is the competence center for leasing of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe . Around 400 savings banks are shareholders, either directly or through affiliated companies. Deutsche Leasing is the sole shareholder of Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing in Mainz. Deutsche Leasing is a member of the Federal Association of German Leasing Companies .

history

In 1962, "Deutsche Leasing GmbH" was the first leasing company in Germany to be entered in the Düsseldorf commercial register. Shortly afterwards the GmbH Machine rent by Albrecht Dietz and rent GmbH founded two other predecessors. These three companies merged in 1971 to form Deutsche Leasing AG .

Albrecht Dietz headed the new stock corporation as CEO until 1991.

Deutsche Leasing is the market leader among manufacturer-independent leasing companies in its home market of Germany.

Products

The company's first leasing object - and thus the first leasable capital goods in Germany - was a Sweda cash register from 1962. Today, the company operates as a full-range provider in both the movables and real estate sectors:

  • Vehicle leasing (cars, commercial vehicles, vehicle fleets, vehicle trade)
  • Machine leasing (agricultural technology, construction machinery, printing machines, plastic machines, medical technology, machine tools)
  • IT and communication leasing (hardware leasing, software leasing, software project leasing)
  • Energy leasing (e.g. in the field of renewable energies, energy generation, energy distribution, storage technologies)
  • Real estate leasing

Foreign companies

In the course of internationalization, the company has been accompanying its customers from Germany to the most important export markets in Europe, Asia and North and South America since 1993. It has subsidiaries in Belgium , Brazil , Bulgaria , China , France , Great Britain , Ireland , Italy , Luxembourg , the Netherlands , Austria , Poland , Portugal , Romania , Russia , Sweden , Slovakia , Spain , the Czech Republic , Hungary , the United States and Canada .
