The German School Ankara is a private school in Ankara , the capital of Turkey , and was founded in 1952. It is located in the city center. It is one of two German schools in Turkey. There is a branch in Istanbul. Since 2002 the school has been called "Ernst Reuter School". The namesake Ernst Reuter was an advisor to the Turkish Ministry of Economics during his exile in Turkey , and in Ankara he also became a professor of urban planning. The school is a member of the World Association of German Schools Abroad

School program

The school runs from kindergarten to grade 10, after which you can take part in the bilingual (English-German) IB program ( International Baccalaureate ). Overall, the school pursues the concept of offering training from kindergarten to international university entrance qualification .
