The Classic (asphalt) section of the German Kegler- und Bowlingbund (DKB) is organized in the German Keglerbund Classic . In terms of the number of members, the DKBC is the largest association in the DKB. In general, this bowling discipline is most widespread in southern Germany.

Game types

All competitions are carried out in combination.

Play in full picture: after each throw, the pins are set up again.

Clear away: The remaining pin picture is played until all nine pins have fallen. Then it is reorganized.

Combined game: The first half is played in full, the second in clearing. Different regulations are permitted for the countries and the subdivisions in special competitions.

Game implementation

Team line-up For each game, up to 10 players must be named to the referee before the game begins. Of these, 8 players can actually be used. The players reported to the referee are to be read out by the referee when the team is presented. With the nomination of the 10 players, the home team must submit the starting order of the 6 players to be used no later than 45 minutes before the start of the game.

Substitute players A maximum of two players can be substituted on per game. Within the framework of the exchange quota, it is possible that the player who was substituted first is exchanged for the second substitute player. The substitution is indicated to the referee with the substitution cards E1 or E2, this is binding. The substitute immediately continues to play on the result of the substituted player. The substitution is to be noted on the match report, with which throw the substitution was made. No substitution is possible in the Sudden Victory.

Break-in time All players have a break-in time of a maximum of 5 minutes on their starting lane. If injured during the break-in period, another player can be used. The game of the individual starters begins with the command of the referee / supervisor “start game, time is running” or with the delivery of the 1st ball to be scored. The break-in period can only be used once. A substitute is not entitled to break-in time.

Number of throws and time 6 × 120 throws (4 × 30 throws combined, 15 full and 15 clears each) are played over four fairways according to the international system of the WNBA / NBC. Each player has 12 minutes per throw series (30 throws). Analogous to the internationally played 120 litter, a small part of the classic bowling currently plays in 200 or 100 litter leagues (50 litter series). The player has 20 minutes per series.

Game rating

Individual competitions The one who played the most pins is better placed in the ranking. With the same number of pins played, the one with the better clearing result is better placed. If this is also equal, the lower number of missed throws decides on the placement. If no ranking can yet be determined, the lowest result in a series of preliminary and final runs will be counted to the disadvantage of the person concerned. If this is also equal, the second lowest result is used, etc.

Team competitions The games in the home and return system are scored according to the pins played and game scoring points (SWP). The team with the most skittles played wins the game and receives 2 plus points and the loser 2 minus points (SWP). In the event of a tie (same number of pins) the scoring is 1: 1 SWP. In team competitions where a tie is not possible, the order is determined in accordance with section B2.6.1.ac. If no sequence can be determined after that, the lowest result of a starter decides to the disadvantage of the team. If this is also the same, the second lowest result is used, etc.

Bullets

The game is played with full balls (160 mm), youngsters up to U 14 play with a 140 mm full ball. It is permitted to compete with your own balls. This requires a ball pass. The perforated ball is sometimes allowed to be played, there are exception rules for seniors. These, in turn, are state-internal regulations.

Club game operation

Bundesliga

The club game operation according to the international game and throw system (120 throw) takes place in the top leagues ( Kegel-Bundesliga Classic ) and the. 2. Bundesliga (four play groups according to regional references) instead. In the 2nd Bundesliga, 10 teams each play a home and return leg. 2. Teams can play up to a maximum of 2. Bundesliga. Further ascent is not possible. The Bundesliga according to the international game mode forms the basis for qualifying for the international cup competitions. The club game operation 100 litter (women) and 200 litter (men) with evaluation of the total cone is played in one league (Bundesliga 100 or Bundesliga 200). There is no direct change from the Bundesliga 100/200 to the Bundesliga 120 (and vice versa) possible.

The club game operation over 120 litter with a scoring system is used to determine the German champion over 120 litter, as well as the determination of the qualifiers for the international club game competitions in classic bowling. The German champion 120 litter qualifies for the world cup. If this does not happen, the second German Champion 120 litter acquires the right to start. The second German champion qualifies for the European Cup. If the latter waives or takes part in the World Cup, the place goes to the next placed. The third German champion qualifies for the NBC Cup. If the latter waives or takes part in the World Cup or European Cup, the place goes to the next-placed.

Every game in the women's and men's national leagues must be led by a trained A referee. In justified exceptional cases, a B referee can be appointed in the federal leagues upon request by the referee officer. This rule then applies to max. a sport year. Games in the 2nd Bundesliga must be directed by a trained A or B referee. This referee can be a club or club referee. A game over 6 lanes can be presided over by 2 referees. One of them must be qualified as an A referee. The referee is from the home and visiting team on the match report by ticking the box Referee OK? Yes no to judge. If the referee does not tick OK, a statement must either be submitted directly to the match report for field comments, or this required statement must be sent in writing to the referee officer within 6 calendar days.

DKBC-Pokal (Classic-Pokal)

The following teams are eligible to play for the DKBC Cup (no multiple awards):

1. All Bundesliga teams including relegated teams into the country
2. All promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga
3. 1st to 4th place of the previous year
4. One team per national association

It is played with 6 players per team over 120 throws each according to the international game and rating system. If the team and set points are equal at the end of the game, a Sudden Victory will be played. In the game over 6 lanes, players 4, 5 and 6 play, in the game over 4 lanes, players 5 and 6 each play 3 throws in the full. If there is another tie, only the lanes last played by the individual players are changed with the respective opposing player and the Sudden Victory continues until the decision is made.

A facility with at least 4 lanes is required to play the game. The team drawn first has home rights. Home rights are exchanged if the team drawn second is a national cup representative. Decisive for this is the league membership in the current season. Leagues of the association league and below are regarded as equal. Teams that are qualified for the World, European or NBC Cup of the current season will receive a bye to the second round. All other participants are divided into three groups for the 1st round according to regional criteria, from which the matches are drawn. This is followed by a second round (64 teams - divided into three regional groups), then the third round (32 teams - divided into two regional groups). From the round of 16 (16 teams) onwards, the matches will be drawn without regional division. The quarter-finals (8 teams) are followed by the final round (Final 4) with four teams on a facility designated by the DKBC over a weekend.

The DKBC Cup winner receives the DKBC Cup and acquires the right to start the NBC Cup; if he does not, the right to start goes to 2nd place, etc. If the DKBC Cup winner is qualified for another international cup competition (World Cup, European Cup), he cannot exercise his right to start in the NBC Cup. The same applies to the second and third placed.

Play area

2000 cone

The surface in the play area must be stable, level, horizontal and non-slip. The play area must be marked with 5 cm wide white floor markings (front, back and side). Exception: the 35 cm wide extension plank.

The top plank must be arranged in the center line of the play area. Their color must be clearly different from the rest of the play area. At the transition to the ball running surface, the surface of the top plank must be 1–3 mm above the level of the ball running surface.

For the single lane, the organizer must place three perforated balls and five perforated balls on a double lane with a return.

If you play a full and a hole ball player on a lane with one return, you have to place three balls each. In the case of a double track with one return, five solid and five perforated balls must be placed.

Playing with your own balls is permitted. Without exception, they must be marked and approved by a DKB ball pass for a named player or a named team.
