German meeting of East Prussians

The East Prussian Germany Meeting is a major meeting of the East Prussian Landsmannschaft , which takes place every three years at alternating locations , and regularly attracts tens of thousands of visitors. In 1953 there were around 120,000 people in Bochum, 170,000 in Bochum in 1957, 200,000 in Düsseldorf in 1966, 40,000 in Berlin in 2005, and over 10,000 in Kassel in 2014.

Essential components are lectures and cultural performances as well as church services and mass rallies. Afterwards, meetings will take place in the exhibition halls according to district communities.
