The Deutz D 6006 is a tractor from the Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz AG from the Deutz D-06 series , which was produced from 1968 to 1974 in the Deutz works in Cologne . This model was offered in both a standard version and an all-wheel drive version . The D 6006 is the successor to the Deutz D 6005 . Visually, it differed particularly in its angular and thus modern look. The D 6006 was one of the most successful tractors in the D-06 series. The frequently sold tractor is still used today in some farms as a third or second tractor. In 1974 it was then replaced by the D 6806.

The motor of the Deutz D 6006 is an air-cooled four-cylinder - direct injection with mass balancing, dry air filter and axial fans of the type F4L912. With this the tractor reaches a top speed of up to 29.2  km / h . The engine has a displacement of 3768  cm³ and an output of 62  hp . The transmission of the type TW 55 (from 1970 TW 55.2) used has 9 forward and 3 reverse gears. From 1974 the TW 55.4 gearbox with 12 forward and 4 reverse gears was installed in the tractor.

With a width of 1955  mm and a length of 3720 mm, the empty weight of the tractor is 2625 kg in the standard  version and 3025 kg in the all-wheel drive version.
