After the end of production of the D 5005 series , the D 7506 was the smallest Deutz tractor.
Visually, it differed from the previous model in particular in its angular and thus more modern look, which was to be adopted by the subsequent Deutz tractors. Another distinguishing feature was the direct injection and the synchronized transmission from ZF . The Deutz D 7506 was offered in two versions. The first variant had eight forward gears and four reverse gears. In the second version, twelve forward gears and six reverse gears were available. The gearbox was shifted manually. The engine of the type F6L912 had a total of six cylinders with a displacement of 5652 cm³ and an output of 75 hp . The air-cooled six - cylinder four - stroke diesel engine reached a top speed of up to 30 km / h .
As an option, the D 7506 could be supplied with a switchable all-wheel drive . A bar mower and additional devices for the hydraulic control were available for the Deutz D 7506.
