The D 8005 is a Deutz brand tractor from the D-05 series . During its construction period, together with the all-wheel-drive version D 8005 A presented in 1966, it was Deutz's most powerful tractor model. At the same time, it was the first series tractor with all-wheel drive from this manufacturer.
Years of construction and models
The Deutz D 8005 was presented in 1965, a year before the all-wheel drive version D 8005 A. Production of both models ended in 1966.
technology
The D 8005 has an F6L812S motor which is equipped with a mass balance gear for smoother running. An A 230 from ZF Friedrichshafen is used as the gearbox ; it provides eight forward and four reverse gears. The front axle of the D 8005 A is the APL 3050 from the same manufacturer, which can also be shifted under load thanks to the built-in multi-plate clutch . Power steering was also available. The standard equipment included u. a. a power take-off shaft and a hydraulic system with 2200 kilograms of lifting power (according to other information 3400 kg), and the possibility of connecting up to three additional hydraulic cylinders .
