The Langental ( Ladin Val or Val Longia ; Italian Vallunga ) is a U-shaped trough valley in South Tyrol , the at Selva of Val branches and northeast direction in the thePuez ushers. The valley is bordered in the northwest by the Stevia and the Col dala Pieres , in the north by the Piz Duleda , the Puez peaks and the Puezkofel . To the east branch off the two side valleys Lietres and Chedultal (pronunciation: Kedultal), which are separated (from south to north) by the ridges of the Cir peaks , the Mont de Sëura and the Col Turont . The entire area is part of the Puez-Geisler Nature Park .

In summer the valley offers many hiking trails and in winter a long cross-country ski run .

In the middle of the rocks at the entrance to the right side of the valley, the ruins of the Wolkenstein castle rise . At the bottom of the valley is the New Year's Eve chapel with frescoes from the 18th century.
