Deutz D-05
The Deutz D-05 series was a series of tractors from Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz AG from Cologne .
After the models D 15, D 25, D 30, D 40 and D 50 of the D series were sold very successfully in the early 1960s , Deutz changed the type designation to four digits in 1964 . Technically and visually, these tractors were very similar to their predecessors. The gearboxes were largely adopted in some types; just like the engines of the FL812 series built into the late D series, but as FL812S (in the 4 cylinder with mass balancing shafts ).
The largest model was the D 9005A, which was powered by a 6-cylinder direct injection diesel engine. Together with the smaller D 6005 with 4-cylinder engine, it was the forerunner of the D-06 series introduced in 1968 in 1967 .
Types
The following types were in the D-05 series (the number in front of the "05" in the type designation indicates the approximate power of the tractor in hp):

The D 4005P version of the D 4005 was available in a plantation version. The tractors of the D-05 series were often delivered with the Fritzmeier weather canopy. Baas front loaders were also often ordered as additional attachments.
