Official government inspector ( RAI ) is in Germany , the official name of an official on the intermediate service in the federal or state administration in the third grade post .
Salary
The position is paid for with salary group A 9 according to the federal salary regulations of the Federal Salary Act and thus corresponds to salary law for a police chief or a staff sergeant in the Bundeswehr . Government office inspectors who perform particularly prominent activities receive an official allowance (A9Z), so that their salary corresponds to that of a senior staff sergeant in the Bundeswehr.
