The Dhaulagiri II is a 7751 meter high mountain in Nepal .

After the eight-thousander Dhaulagiri I, it is the second highest mountain in the Dhaulagiri Himal .

The first ascent was made by Ronald Fear, Adolf Huber, Adolf Weissensteiner and the Sherpa Jangbu on May 18, 1971 as part of the Austrian Himalayan Society 's expedition , known as the Dr.-Rudolf-Jonas-Gedächtnis-Expedition in memory of Rudolf Jonas .
