Diablo Cody
Diablo Cody (born June 14, 1978 in Chicago , Illinois , actually Brook Busey-Maurio ) is a writer, Oscar winner, British Academy Film Awards winner and blogger .
life and career
She first became known through her appearances in peep shows and as a striptease dancer in Minneapolis , which she published openly on her blog "The Pussy Ranch" and in her 2006 memoir "Candy Girl - A Year in The Life of an Unlikely Stripper".
After the success of her first book Cody wrote her first screenplay, with whom she 2008 the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay of the film Juno won (2007). The comedy-drama series Taras Welten aired on Showtime from January 2009 to June 2011 .
From 2004 to 2007 she was married to the musician Jon Hunt from the psych-folk band Lovely Dark.
She has been married to Dan Maurio since 2009, with whom she has two children.
