Diana Alexejewna Jakowlewa ( Russian Диана Алексеевна Яковлева ; born April 13, 1988 in Moscow ) is a Russian foil fencer .

successes

At the 2013 World Fencing Championships in Budapest , 1.73 m tall Yakovleva took third place with the Russian team. In 2014 she became vice world champion in Kazan together with Inna Deriglasowa , Larissa Korobeinikowa , and Julia Birjukowa .

At the European Fencing Championships 2013 in Zagreb , Jakowlewa won the silver medal in the foil individual behind Elisa Di Francisca from Italy. In 2014 in Strasbourg she was vice European champion with the Russian team.

On June 26, 2015, Yakovleva won the gold medal with the Russian foil team at the first European Games in Baku .
