Diana Green

Diana Margaret Green CBE (born April 10, 1943 ) is a British economist .

Career, research and teaching

Green initially studied French and Italian at the University of Reading , but dropped out early. From 1970 she studied economics at Queen Mary University of London , where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973 . She then went to the London School of Economics and Political Science , where she received her Ph.D. in 1976 with a thesis on the French state budget. Degree. Later she taught and researched at the Birmingham Polytech where they the economics 1984-1987 Faculty initiated and until 1992 as a college to a university was redesignated as deputy director worked. In 1998 she followed a call from Sheffield Hallam University , where she was Vice Chancellor until 2007 .
