Diane Davis (squash player)

Diane "Di" Davis is a former Australian squash player and trainer.

Career

Diane Davis was active as a squash player in the 1980s. With the Australian national team , she took part in the World Cup in 1983 and 1985 . In 1983 she reached with this the final against England , which the Australians won 2-1. Davis was not used in the final. Two years later she was third with the team. In the individual she was also in the main field of the world championship in 1983 and 1985 and reached the second round both times.

From 1992 to 1998 she was national coach for the Australian women's team. With this she won a total of four titles in a row, from 1994 to 1998 with the same cast. The team also remained undefeated during this time and was awarded the Team Sport Australia Award for these successes in 2008 .
