The two best-placed teams in Groups A and B made it to the semi-finals. The group third and fourth of groups A and B and the two best-placed teams in groups C and D played for places 5 to 12. All teams consisted of a minimum of three and a maximum of four players who had to be reported in the order of their skill level. Three individual games were played per encounter.
