Women's Squash World Team Championship 1981
The second women's World Team Championship ( English 1981 Women's World Team Squash Championships ) was held from October 25 to November 2, 1981 in Toronto , Canada instead. A total of 14 teams took part, eight more than at the first event two years earlier. The British team did not participate as such, the individual nations competed separately. England , Wales and Scotland made their debut with it. In addition, New Zealand , Zimbabwe , Kenya , Nigeria , the Netherlands and the Federal Republic of Germany took part in their first World Cup. Australia won their first world title with a 2-1 final victory over England, third and fourth places were occupied by the newcomers New Zealand and Scotland. The German team finished the tournament in 13th place.

All teams consisted of a minimum of three and a maximum of four players who had to be reported in the order of their skill level. Three individual games were played per encounter. A team won if its players could win two of the individual games. The order in which the individual games were played was independent of the order in which the players entered.
