James Hersey (born July 15, 1988 ) in Gmunden is an Austrian - American musician living in Vienna who can be found musically in the field of Electro Pop - Crossover .

Life

In 2013 he was nominated for the FM4 Award, which is presented as part of the Amadeus Austrian Music Award . In 2014 his first own tour followed, on which he also performed in Germany.

With the single How Hard I Try (in cooperation with the music producer Filous ) he entered the Ö3 Austria Top 40 and the German charts for the first time in 2015 . With a version of his song Coming Over newly produced by Dillon Francis and Kygo , he rose to number 1 in the US Billboard Dance Club Songs in June 2016 . In November 2016, he returned to the Austrian and German charts with the single Miss You . This was awarded gold in Italy in April 2017, and in June it also achieved gold status in Canada.
