Ministry of Diaspora

A ministry with the portfolio of the affairs of foreign citizens ( expatriates , diaspora ) is called a diaspora ministry . They are mainly found in countries where there is a significant problem of emigration or at least residence abroad (i.e. a large number of nationals abroad, migration phenomena ), but also with historical problems of displaced persons or larger minorities of one's own culture in other countries ( problem of exiles). Otherwise, the agendas of foreign citizens are settled in a foreign ministry or a ministry of the interior and those of exiles are also in a ministry of social affairs or culture .
