Dick Otto Ludvig Bergström (born February 15, 1886 in Lidingö , † August 17, 1952 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish sailor .

successes

Dick Bergström, who was a member of the Kungliga Svenska Segelsällskapet , won the silver medal in the 12-meter class at the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 . He was a crew member of the Erna Signe , which took second place in both races of the regatta and thus ended the competition behind the Norwegian boat Magda IX from skipper Johan Anker and ahead of the Finnish boat Heatherbell from skipper Ernst Krogius . The Erna Signe crew also included Erik Lindqvist , Iwan Lamby , Hugo Sällström , Sigurd Kander , Folke Johnson , Hugo Clason , Per Bergman and his brother Kurt Bergström . The skipper of the boat was Nils Persson .
