The castle (also the castle - Prominent in chain mail ) was one of ProSieben broadcast in January and February 2005 Reality TV - TV show . The show was the successor to Die Alm , which was broadcast the year before. Both programs were moderated by Elton and Sonya Kraus . The show aired Monday through Friday in prime time at 8.15 p.m. and on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) around 10 p.m. The location was Rappottenstein Castle . Christian Anders won the first and only season .
concept
The 12 candidates were supposed to lead a life like in a medieval castle. They were divided into "nobility" and "rabble". While the nobility let themselves be pampered, the mob toiled for the nobility. Various mostly disgusting tasks provided an opportunity to switch.

Originally Lothar Vosseler was also supposed to take part in the format, but he canceled at short notice.
Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt had to leave the castle on February 2 after peeing in Kader Loth's bathtub with Karim Maataoui . Then there was a food fight between the candidates, in which Loth and von Anhalt were injured. As a punishment, von Anhalt was initially locked in a cage and later ordered to leave the castle.
In the subsequent legal dispute between the two contracting parties, Loth was defeated by von Anhalt at the Berlin Regional Court.
