The Gallows Birds are a medieval band that can be heard and seen at medieval markets , live role plays and jousting games . The band was founded in the spring of 2000 in the Cologne area.

Music genre

The gallows birds mainly play medieval drinking and tavern music . The repertoire includes pieces from the Middle Ages, Renaissance and later epochs, as well as melodies and texts that are partly self-written.
